Company 32 assists on two working fires four days apart.
The first, at 13:32hrs on Dec 8th Engine 32 was dispatched as part of the 1st Alarm assignment on box 31-01 to the 900 block of North College St. for a reported house fire. Engine 32 was second arriving and picked up Engine 31s line and establishing water supply while crews assisted with fire suppression on the "C" side of the structure. PT32 was dispatched soon after and arrived as the first arriving tanker supplying the engine. Crews operated on scene for 2 hours before being released.
Four days later on Dec 11th at 10:39hrs the 1st alarm was once again sent out for the 900 block of North College St. for a reported house fire. This time the fire was far more advanced with first arriving units met with heavy fire conditions. Engine 32 was third arriving engine and assisted with water supply, while crews assisted with fire suppression efforts. PT32 arrived second due tanker and worked into the tanker shuttle. Engine 32 was released soon after control was marked while PT32 operated on scene for 7 hours before being released. |
