This past weekend the Kutztown Volunteers hosted a live burn session with the Keystone Hook & Ladder and Neptune Fire Company at the Berks County Fire Training Center. Firefighters from all three companies rotated roles on the fireground from Fire Attack, Interior Search, VES and RIT. A total of around 30 firefighters conducted six evolutions simulating second floor and basement fires. This facility and thus the floor plan of the building was new to most of the firefighters attending, adding to the complexity of the scenarios.
