| Just after 1pm today as crews were in house working on some ongoing projects LCDES sent out the 1st alarm assignment for a reported structure fire bringing companies 32, 31, 33, 48, Berks 47 and 28.
With crews in station E32 made the response with 5 shortly after dispatch with the PT following, E32 arrived to find a working fire in a 20x40 detached garage with the residence as an exposure on the A/D corner. E32 placed lines in service with the PT supplying them, Deputy 32 arrived and established the Kutztown Road command while AT32 made their way to the C side of the structure.
Additional units from company 31 arrived and were put to work assisting with the suppression and overhaul efforts as well as checking the exposure residence for any extension.
As additional units arrived manpower was sent to stagging before the box was scaled back.
