Brush 32 Taken Out Of Service for the last time.
Kutztown Community Fire Company, August 14
Today at around 6pm Brush 32 was placed out of service for the last time.
Brush 32 was purchased October 22nd 2001 and served the Jackson Township Community and surrounding areas for 23 years. During that time the Brush evolved a number of times taking on the role of a Quick Response Service (QRS) for a period of time as well as being used as a part of the Lebanon County Forestry Team.

PT Assists on Ephrata Commercial Fire
Kutztown Community Fire Company, February 15
This morning just before 5AM Station 32 was dispatched to transfer PT32 to Lancaster County Station 14 Durlach Mt. Airy Fire Company while they operated at a then 2 Alarm Business Commercial fire at Martins Country Market. Soon after arrival at Station 14, command requested an additional 10 tankers bringing PT32 to the scene. This fire quickly grew to 4 alarms with over 30 Tankers operating as the ... 2nd Alarm Barn Fire in the 35 Local
Kutztown Community Fire Company, January 18
Just before 6pm yesterday the 2nd alarm was struck for the 35-01 box for a working barn fire brining PT32. The PT hit the street with in 3 mins of dispatch and shuttled 6 total loads of water. PT32 along with the numerous other tankers on scene moved in excess of 250,000 gallons of water used in the suppression efforts. PT32's crew assisted with the dump site operations on arrival. Two Working Fires in 4 Days
Kutztown Community Fire Company, December 13
Company 32 assists on two working fires four days apart.
The first, at 13:32hrs on Dec 8th Engine 32 was dispatched as part of the 1st Alarm assignment on box 31-01 to the 900 block of North College St. for a reported house fire. New Attack Build Starts!

Its official, construction on our new Attack truck has started!
Once delivered the new Attack 32 will be a Vengeant Blizzard build on a Ford F550 Chassis. The new Attack 32 will be replacing the current Brush 32 providing greatly increased capabilities. Live Burn Training in Berks
Kutztown Community Fire Company, August 01
This past weekend the Kutztown Volunteers hosted a live burn session with the Keystone Hook & Ladder and Neptune Fire Company at the Berks County Fire Training Center. Firefighters from all three companies rotated roles on the fireground from Fire Attack, Interior Search, VES and RIT. Acquired Structure Training
Kutztown Community Fire Company, June 29
Last night crews conducted joint training with Station 31 (Keystone) and Berks 28 (Mt Aetna) on an acquired structure in the 32 first due. Crews split up and conducted numerous evolutions including hoseline advancement, search, and ventilation. Following these evolutions crews focused discussions on RIT, Building Construction and firefighter survival.
